An inside room lamp has a lamp body 91,5) plus a lamp (9) held on the lamp body in one or more sockets (11). The lamp body has a device for installing the lamp in a room plus an optic fiber plate (5) which is located with a narrow side in an operating position of the lamp parallel to its longitudinal axis. The lamp is accommodated in this operating position in a reflector housing whose inside walls are formed at least partially by the already-mentioned narrow side of the optic fiber plate and by reflector elements. These reflect at least a part of the light emitted from the lamp in an operating position to the same narrow side of the optic fiber plate. The socket(s) is/are supported in pivoting fashion about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the lamp so that the lamp can be swiveled out of the reflector housing |
