Control apparatus for inverter used in driving e.g. electric motor

The apparatus regulates an inverter (11) which consists of several switching components. A voltage command value is generated for the switching components of the inverter based on the error of the provided current command value and detected current value of the inverter. The voltage command value is compared with a triangular wave signal released from a standard wave generator. PWM is performed based on the large or small difference between the compared voltage command value and triangular wave. The apparatus has a voltage detector (19) that senses the output voltage value of the inverter. An output-voltage error detector (21) obtains the voltage error of the voltage command value and output-voltage value. A memory (18) stores the relationship between the detected current value and voltage error. A compensating unit (16) corrects the voltage command value based on the stored voltage error and detected current voltage.
