PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system low in cost, high in accuracy, having high in-plane uniformity including angle dependence of emitted light and high in luminance. SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with tabular light guides 13 and light sources 11 arranged adjacent to at least one side of peripheries of the light guides 13. The emitted light from the light sources 11 enters the light guides 13, and it is propagated and emitted from light emitting surfaces of the light guides 13. Here, bottom surfaces of the light guides 13 have reflective surfaces where great number of processes having minute inclined planes are formed toward the inside of the light guides 13, and a light reflector 12 is set adjacently on the backside of the light guides 13, then the two or more light guides 13 having cuneal sectionals are mutually jointed at respective thin side surface by a transparent medium 15. |
