Provided is a motor control device with which it is possible to appropriately compensate for inverter output voltage fluctuation during a dead time. A motor control device for converting a DC voltage into an AC voltage using an inverter having a switching element comprising an upper arm and a lower arm, and applying the AC voltage to a motor to control a motor current so as to be equal to a target current value, wherein: the motor control device is provided with a dead time compensation unit 20 for compensating, by a dead time compensation voltage, for the inverter output voltage fluctuation during a dead time every time the upper arm and the lower arm are switched; and the dead time compensation unit 20 acquires an input parameter for determining the polarity of the motor current during a dead time in a half period of the fundamental wave of the motor current, and varies the dead time compensation voltage according to the size of the input parameter. |
