PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment that makes a transmission notice automatically so as to relieve the load on a sender. SOLUTION: When the facsimile number of a destination is entered (S10) and a transmission notice key is depressed (S11: Y), an entered designation number is stored (S12). When a facsimile document is sent (S13) and no designation number is entered (S14: N), the processing is finished. Otherwise, after entering the designation number of a destination to inform of facsimile transmission, the facsimile number is entered. A control section sends an electronic mail of the document to a mail address corresponding to the designation number after the facsimile transmission in order to inform of the transmission of the facsimile document.
