PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic polyolefin composition capable of exhibiting excellent surface durability such as bruising resistance, scratching resistance, abrasion resistance and wear resistance, and useful for automobile internal and external parts or the like by compounding a radiation polymerizable component and a photoinitiator for the start of the crosslinking of the component. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) a thermoplastic polyolefin base [e.g. a blend of a (semi-)crystalline poly-α-olefin and an amorphous poly-α- olefin], (B) a radiation polymerizable component (e.g. an unsaturated polyolefin such as ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer or polybutadiene), (C) a photoinitiator (e.g. a mixture of 2,2-dimethoxy-2-phenylacetophenone and 1- hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone), and optionally further (D) a filler. The composition contains the components A, B, C and D preferably at ratios of 99-50 wt.%, 1-30 wt.%, 0.01-5 wt.% and 0.1-30 wt.%, respectively.
