<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate loading/unloading of a cartridge and to prevent any erroneous operations. SOLUTION: This magnetic information recording/ reproducing device is provided with a detecting member 22 for rotating a driving source 13 disposed in a casing 2 and a slidable operating member 19 for operating this detecting member 22, and only by lightly pressing the display part 19a of the operating member 19 from the front face of the casing 2, the driving source 13 is rotated and the cartridge 4 is easily ejected by a motor. In this case, the device is provided with a light emitting member 21 for emitting an illumination light according to the operating state of the cartridge, the operating part 19 is made of a light transmitting material, the illumination light of the light emitting member 21 is made incident on the operating member 19, and this incident illumination light is guided to the outside of the casing by the operating member 19.</p> |
