PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact an ignition device by shortening the length of a bobbin in its axial direction. SOLUTION: This ignition device 10 is provided with an inner core 12, a secondary coil 13, a primary coil 14, an outer core 15, and a case 11 for storing these members. An insulating covered wire 32 is wound round a bobbin 50 for the secondary coil 13, and the high voltage side terminal part of the wire 32 is connected to a terminal 40. The terminal 40 is connected to a high voltage member 21, and induced voltage generated in the coil 13 is supplied from the terminal 40 to an ignition plug through the member 21. The terminal 40 is rotatably supported by a recessed part formed on the lower end part of the bobbin 50, and the looseness quantity of the wire 32 is made adjustable through the rotation of the terminal 40. |
