The glass plates stand in a stack, and are moved onto a horizontal table, using a suction force, applied to the outer plate surface. The upper plate on the stack is seized at a point on its upper and a point on its lower half, and by lifting via an upper suction point, is moved in a concave arc, resp. angled relative to the stack. The plate is moved to above the horizontal table, and, by being swivelled through an angle of 90 deg., brought into a position parallel to the table. The plate is then deposited on the table, the contact surface being uppermost. An outwardly directed force is applied to a suction point near an upper corner. The force is sufficient to raise the plate, and overcome the adherence to adjacent plates in the stack.
|
