<p>The application is for the production of H.V. power supplies, for example, as used on television tubes, whose circuit configuration is set out in P2350964.0. production is simplified by mounting the components (C1, D1, etc) on a flat circuit board consisting of at least two sections (1, 2) separated by a narrow joining piece (3). After placing the components and the connecting wires (4, 5) the unit is soldered, typically by automatic means such as flow soldering. the board sections are then broken at the joining pieces and slotted vertically into an appropriate holder, the connecting wires taking on a generally W-shaped form.</p> |
