Device for the articulation of a vehicle window

The rear quarter panel window (V) is hinged to the vehicle bodywork by means of a fixing part (11,12) carried by a plate (1). This part ensures locking by engaging with an anchoring part (21,22) integral with the bodywork. The fixing and anchoring part are constituted by cavities (210,220) and teeth (11a,12a) respectively. The anchoring part also has two dowels (23) which are inserted into bores in the bodywork and receive pegs (24) which wedge them in the bores. A resiliently deformable connecting part molded onto the edge of the window has an end part of the plate embedded in it.
