摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve follow-up performance of a push rod in relation to an eccentric cam by setting strong spring force of a push rod spring of a fuel pump device without enlarging the pump device. SOLUTION: A push rod spring S is compressed and provided in a push rod guide hole 1E to press a push rod 10 toward a pin 11 of a diaphragm rod 9. The push rod spring S is constituted of a first push rod spring S1 having the large diameter and a second push rod spring S2 having the small diameter. The outside diameter part of the first push rod spring S1 is guided by the inner wall 10F of an upper opening recessed part 10D of the push rod 10, and the outside diameter part of the second push rod spring S2 is guided by the inner wall 1H provided on the upper bottom part 1D of the push rod guide hole 1E.</p>
