PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for treating octopus legs, capable of efficiently obtaining the octopus legs maintained in stretched states, even when the octopus legs are subjected to a heating treatment and a cooling treatment. SOLUTION: This device for treating octopus legs is obtained by disposing an endless chain 5 in a freely travelable state between both the arranged direction ends of a water tank group comprising water tanks 2, 3 arranged in series, supporting the endless chain 5 with sprockets 6, 7 at both the ends of the water tank group, disposing the forward way of the endless chain 5 in the water tanks 2, 3, attaching octopus leg-receiving containers 8 having openings in their upper surface portions, respectively, to the endless chain 5, and disposing the prescribed number of receiving portions for receiving the octopus legs in stretched states, respectively, in the octopus leg-receiving containers 8. |
