PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adhesion of platelet, reduce the activation of the platelet, and suppress the formation of the thrombus by equally mixing hydrophilic high polymer having such characteristics as dissolving and swelling in water with polyurethane based resin. SOLUTION: To improve anti-thrombus performance of polyurethane based resin used for a blood adaptive material, a blend mixture is manufactured by mixing it with hydrophilic high polymer dissolved in an environment having water just like inside a living body. A chain of hydrated hydrophilic high polymer exists on the surface of the high polymer blend as the form of a cilia and is hydrated so that it can hinder the adsorption of thrombotic protein such as fibrinogen showing high fluidity in the blood, adsorption of immunoprotein, and adhesion of the platelet so as to prevent the formation of thrombus. The hydrophilic high polymers includes polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylic acid, and polyacrylamide. |
