PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an injection-moldable resin composition with excellent electrical properties, heat resistance and plating characteristics, also excellent in fluidity under a thermoplastic condition, to obtain a molded product from this composition, and to provide a method for producing the resin composition. SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by mixing 4-25 wt.% of fluororesin particles 0.01-300μm in average size with 48-96 wt.% of a polyetherimide, alternatively, dissolving the polyetherimide at a concentration of 10-500 g/L in a solvent soluble for the polyetherimide at >=10 g/L but insoluble for the fluoresin particles to form a solution, which, in turn, is incorporated and dispersed with the fluororesin particles 0.01-300μm in average size so as to be (15:85) to (85:15) in the weight ratio: the polyetherimide/fluororsin particles followed by distilling off the solvent to afford a premix, follwed by further mixing with the polyetherimide. The objective molded product is obtained by using the above resin composition.
