PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute a traffic without giving effect on other sectors in the automobile portable telephone system. SOLUTION: This system in a cellular telephone/portable telephone base station recognizes the increase in the traffic and is turned based on the result. Each of plural antennas 2 mounted on a pole 3 has directivity and this antenna system covers every direction over 360 degrees. A turning section 4 turns the antennas to change the area covered by each antenna. Thus, in the case that traffic is concentrated on a sector, part of mobile stations is moved to an adjacent sector in a same cell. |
