摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording sheet for a pressure-sensitive thermal process which facilitates recording of high image quality. SOLUTION: A sheet 20 is constituted of a base 21, a capsule layer 22 and a protective film 23. The capsule layer 22 is a layer of microcapsules 24, 25 and 26 having particle sizes of about 5-10 μm and is formed on the base 21. The microcapsules 24, 25 and 26 are composed of capsule wall films 24a, 25a and 26a and coloring agents 24b, 25b and 26b sealed as cores in the respective capsule wall films. The capsule wall film 24a is formed of polyethylene resin of a molecular weight of about 40000 and has a film thickness of about 0.02 μm and the capsule wall film 25a is formed of polyethylene resin of a molecular weight of about 25000 and has a film thickness of about 0.06 μm, while the capsule wall film 26a is formed of polyethylene resin of a molecular weight of about 10000 and has a film thickness of about 0.10 μm. The molecular densities of the capsule wall films are identical and the specific gravities are about 0.95. The outside surfaces are dyed in the same color as the base 21 and the capsule layer 22 is covered with the transparent protective film 23.
