<p>PURPOSE: To provide a filter bed fitted with float for purifying water channel capable of corresponding to an increase and decrease in the quantity of water. CONSTITUTION: A pair of first guide rails 9A and a pair of second guide rails 9B are arranged to the opposed side walls 8 of a water channel 20 so as to leave a definite distance between the guide rails 9A, 9B in the direction of water flow F. Attaching holes 5 are bored in the holding members 4 fitted with floats 7 attached to two pairs of the guide rails 9A, 9B in a freely up and down movable manner. The rows of elastic string like filter materials 6 are provided between a pair of poles 2 under tension so as to connect both poles 2 of which the end parts can be inserted in the attaching holes 5 at an interval narrower than the definite distance to form a filter material 1 and a plurality of filter material films are formed by two or more pairs of the poles 2. Diameter expanding annular flange parts 3 capable of being inserted in the attaching holes 5 are provided to the end parts of the respective poles 2. By inserting the flange parts 3 in the attaching holes 5, the poles 2 are attached to the holding members 4 on the first and second guide rails 9A, 9B and the filter material films 1 are developed under tension to form a filter bed 10 and the poles 2 are drawn near mutually by the elasticity of the string like filter materials 6 to be held to the holding members 4 and the holding members 4 and the filter bed 10 are raised and lowered corresponding to the fluctuations of a water level 22 by the buoyancy of the floats 7.</p> |
