<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable operation of a bus independently of the number of bus agents connected thereto and to reduce power consumption as a whole by stopping unnecessary operation of bus agents. SOLUTION: This device has plural bus connecting parts 121 -124 provided on a bus line 10 so as to connect bus agents to the bus line or to disconnect these bus agents and a bus connection control part 14 for monitoring the bus line 10 and controlling the correspondent bus connecting parts 121 -124 so as to disconnect bus agents 161 -164 which do not perform access longer than a prescribed specified time. Since corresponding bus connecting parts 121 -124 are controlled so as to disconnect the bus agents 161 -164 which do not perform access longer than the prescribed specified time, the disconnected bus agents 161 -164 do not decode addresses from the bus line 10 so that power consumption is reduced.</p> |
