The mixing tube (1) has a sludge inlet and outlet (2, 3) and a swirl chamber nozzle (6) comprising a head with narrow passage and polymer-swirling rotor behind it. The mixing tube includes baffles (5) inducing turbulence. Preferred features: Three swirl chamber nozzles are used at two levels in the mixing tube. Each has a 1/2 inch BSP connector.
