摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the occurrence of welding defects such as pock mark, and to improve the welding workability by correctly controlling the diffusion of Fe-Si to be used for a deoxidizing agent in flux particles. SOLUTION: After raw flux powder is granulated, the powder is baked at the temperature of >=700 deg.C. In the flux granules of >=150μm in grain size, the ratio of the Fe-Si particles of 10-106μm in grain size to the flux particles is 0.5-20.0% per unit flux particle in terms of the volumetric ratio. When the ratio is below 0.5% per flux particle, the gas generation suppression effect is small during the welding when the flux is repeatedly used, and pock marks are generated in a weld mark. On the other, when the ratio exceeds 20.0%, the addition of Fe-Si in the flux is increased, the iron in the flux is increased thereby, the surface quality of a weld bead is degraded.
