PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin modifier which is blendable with an NBR latex at any ratio, a resin foam contg. the same, and a cosmetic-applying tool made of the foam. SOLUTION: This modifier comprises a water-dispersed polybutadiene-based polyurethane resin which is prepd. by reacting (a) an alicyclic polyisocyanate component with (b) a polyol component comprising a polybutadiene polyol having a mol.wt. of 500-3,000 and at least either a polyester polyol having a mol.wt. of 500-3,000 or a polycarbonate polyol having a mol.wt. of 500-3,000 and (c) a carboxylic acid component having at least two active hydrogen atoms, neutralizing the resultant polyadduct (which is an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer), emulsifying the neutralized prepolymer in water, and chain- extending it with at least one chain extender selected from among water, polyamines, and hydrazine derivs. |
