PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart activity basically as a thickener, ability to suppress the separation of materials and superior processability by adding a cement additive obtd. by polymerizing monomer components essentially including methyl acrylate to a cement compsn. contg. cement and water. SOLUTION: A cement additive comprising a polymer obtd. by polymerizing monomer components including 100-40% methyl acrylate is added to a cement compsn. contg. cement and kneading water. The cement additive, together with a cement water-reducing agent, is dispersed or dissolved in a part or all of kneading water and the resultant dispersion or soln. is poured into a cement mixing system and kneaded to prepare the objective cement compsn. The cement mixing system is adaptable to a state contg. cement, a state contg. cement and fine aggregate, a state contg. cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate or a state contg. neither cement, fine aggregate nor coarse aggregate. |
