PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the interest of a driving game by speedily switch-operate toward a forward moving state from a backward moving state. SOLUTION: A driving game machine allowing one's own vehicle displayed on a monitor picture according to the similarly driving operation of a player to move forward or backward within a pseudo moving space by receiving a control signal from a control part consists of a shift lever 51 which can be position-changed between a front driving position giving a directional instruction to a forward moving side to the own vehicle and a back driving position giving a directional instruction to a backward moving side to the own vehicle, a limit switch detecting that this shift lever 51 is set to each position and a first coil spring 54 energizing the shift lever 51 to the side of the front driving position.
