A multilayered printed circuit board with electronic components and several superposed layers of conductors consisting of signal layers with signal conductors transmitting signal flows from the electronic components, and with at least two other layers whereby large-size conductor areas are arranged therein. An imperfect medium for damping high frequency cavity resonances that are produced by reflection of electromagnetic waves on the edge of the multilayer substrate is arranged at least in between the large-size conductor areas. The medium consists of an electrically non-conductive matrix material with magnetic particles embedded therein in order to achieve good damping of frequency cavity resonances, to improve blocking performance and to simultaneously and insignificantly affect the transmission of signals from the printed circuit board in the lower frequency range. |
