(2R,3S,4S,5R,6R,10R,11R)-2,4,6,8,10-Pentamethyl-11-acetyl-12,13- dioxabicyclo(8.2.1)tridec-8-en-1-one compounds are new. (2R,3S,4S,5R,6R,10R,11R)-2,4,6,8,10-pentamethyl-11-acetyl-12,13- dioxabicyclo(8.2.1)tridec-8-en-1-one compounds of formula (I) and their acid addition salts are new R1 = H or Me; R2 = H or lower alkanoyl.
