METHOD OF PRODUCING BILLETS AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT

FIELD: methods and devices for production of raw billets based on slip or thick pasty mass. SUBSTANCE: mass is introduced under pressure into mold cooled to below O C. After freezing, billet is removed and subjected to further working. Mold and movable part of power cylinder which closing the mold are located in sealed casing. Supplied to internal hollow of casing is dry gas with dew point below mold working temperature. Trough or box transfers raw billet from casing outlet hole to receiver found beyond the casing limits. Supply of dry gas prevents deposition of ice on planes of mold joints. Casing provides for maintenance of gas dew point below mold temperature. The method provides for production of billets with high density and mechanical characteristics. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 30 cl, 11 dwg
