PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing material that can be used even in special environments as under high vacuum, at elevated temperatures and the like by using a solid lubricant having excellent lubricity, adhesion and resistance to heat and reduced dusting. SOLUTION: Polytetrafluoroethylene with an average molecular weight of 7,000-15,000 and the average particle size of 5μm is used as a solid lubricant 5. The particles of this polymer are dispersed without aggregation between the particles and allowed to cover the surfaces of the rolling element 3, the race ways 11, 12 and the retainer 4 in a bearing. |
