PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yellow ink composition having excellent properties, especially including C.I. Pigment yellow 74 excellent in light stability. SOLUTION: This yellow ink composition contains a pigment of C.I. Pigment yellow 74 and >=0.4 pts.wt. of a styrene-(meth)acrylic acid-based water-soluble resin expressed in terms of solid based on 1 pt.wt. of the pigment, and has extremely superior light resistance. Preferably, the styrene-(meth)acrylic acid- based water-soluble resin has 50-200 acid value, and the yellow ink contains 0.3-8 wt.% coloring metter which has <=200 nm average particle diameter. |
