PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waterproof backing-treated article that has high resistance to washing and durable waterproofing properties by subjecting polypropylene fabrics to the waterproof backing treatment. SOLUTION: A fabric made of polypropylene fibers is brought into close contact, at least at its back face, with the coated face of the transferring sheet that is prepared by coating a release sheet with a low-molecular-weight polypropylene dispersed in a solvent. Then, they are heated whereby the low- molecular-weight polypropylene film is transferred to the back face of the fabric and laminated thereto. |
