PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resume embroidery at a desired pattern part after embroidery is once suspended by specifying an optional one of more than one pattern part shown on a display at the time of the resumption of embroidery, and reading embroidery data for the specified pattern part from a embroidery data storing means in response to a sewing start command. SOLUTION: When the card key of an operating panel 9 is operated with a ROM card 27 in a set state, five embroidery patterns, for example, are shown on a display 10, and by operating a touch key 11, an embroidery pattern is selected. During the execution of embroidery, if embroidery is suspended due to a trouble such as the breakage of needle thread or exhaustion of bobbin thread, when a cueing key is operated, all pattern parts of an embroidery pattern that is being processed and indications of cueing are shown on the display 10. By operating the touch key 11 at a desired pattern part to be redone, the desired pattern part is specified and embroidery is resumed from the head of the desired pattern part. |
