PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold capable of easily demolding an intermediate of a polyimide tubular article and capable of producing a thick-walled seamless polyimide tubular article with a thickness of above 100μm. SOLUTION: In a mold l for producing a polyimide tubular article used in forming the intermediate of the polyimide tubular article by casting a polyimide precursor soln. on the surface of a mold having a cylindrical or columnar shape and heat-treating the cast soln., a layer with a thickness of 500μm or more composed of a heat-resistant resin 102 is provided at least on the mold surface. The coefficient of linear expansion of the heat-resistant resin is set to 7×10<-5> deg.C<-1> or more.
