<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid futile use of frequency resources by allowing a mobile station to recognize an ATM service class supported by a base station and service quality offered at this time in advance so as to avoid any calling in the case that the required service class is not supported or the required service quality cannot be assured when the mobile station makes an ATM call. SOLUTION: When a radio base station informs a mobile station of an ATM service class supported by the radio base station through a notice channel, the information is stored in a service class information acquisition section 202. Furthermore, upon the receipt of a call request from an ATM application 204, a call processing section 207 compares the ATM service class of a call to be made with support presence/absence information for each service class in a radio area stored in advance and stops a call processing when the service class is not supported, and continues the call processing when the service class is supported.</p> |
