PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liq. bleaching agent compsn. which does not exhibit the decrease in viscosity with the time lapse of though it contains a polymeric thickener and which is useful esp. in the bleach-coating method by compounding hydrogen peroxide, a polymeric thickener, and a phenol or a deriv. thereof. SOLUTION: Pref., hydrogen peroxide, the base bleaching agent, is contained in an amt. of 0.1-30 wt.% of the compsn. Water-soluble polymers are listed as polymeric thickeners, among carboxylic acid-derived polymers and glycol- derived polymers are pref. Usually, a polymeric thickener is compounded in an amt. of 0.01-20wt.% of the compsn. A phenol or a deriv. thereof having a standard oxidation potential of 1.25 V or lower is pref., and it is pref. compounded in an amt. of 0.01-10 wt.% of the compsn. The rest is water. A suitable viscosity of the compsn. is 10-300 cP at room temp. (25 deg.C). |
