PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent buttons of an operation part of a portable telephone set from being pressed by mistake when it is put in and out of a bag or pocket by providing at a lengthwise end part of the portable telephone set main body a protection cover which is coupled with a portable telephone set main body in a freely opening/closing state with a hinge and which covers the operation part of the portable telephone set main body when closed. SOLUTION: A protection cover C is formed of the same material as a portable telephone set body P, e.g. plastic and fitted to the lengthwise end part of the portable telephone main body P in the free opening/closing state through a hinge H. At the edge part inside the protection cover C, light emission bodies L of a plurality of LEDs are mounted mutually at proper intervals to provide a good appearance as an article. Consequently, the protection cover C can be closed after use, so that push buttons 2 are hidden and prevented from being pressed by mistake during carriage or storage; and as the light emission bodies L are provided, appearance as the article is made more attractive. |
