PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the device to be mounted simply on a portable telephone set, to prevent surely malfunction through the operation of its receiver only at the arrival of an incoming call to its own portable telephone set and to prevent a carrying article from being left behind. SOLUTION: A transmitter of this device is made up of a radio wave detection circuit 9 that is provided with an antenna capable of being locked to a radio wave reception antenna of a portable telephone set and up of a central processing unit 10 that continues transmission of an ID signal while the radio wave detection circuit 9 detects a radio wave and that sends a synchronizing signal at a prescribed interval when the radio wave detection circuit 9 detects no radio wave. A receiver of the device is made up of a reception circuit 19 that receives a signal sent from the transmitter and up of a notice device having a central processing unit 20 that is used to make vibration or light emission by means of a pulse signal set in advance for call reception in the case that the signal received by the reception circuit 19 is an ID signal and used to make vibration or light emission by means of a pulse signal having been set in advance for prevention of being left behind when the reception circuit 19 cannot receive the signal. The vibrator 21 as the attention attracting device is made up of the transmitter and the receiver as above.
