PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container such as a toner cartridge capable of detecting the quality deterioration of unused toner when the toner container is fitted and to provide an image forming device capable of automatically detecting the requirement for the replacement of the toner cartridge due to an aging effect and invariably forming a good-quality image. SOLUTION: The surface of a nontransparent aluminum pack 78 sealed with a process unit 7 is coated with a white paint in a prescribed shape, and an information display section 76A printed in characters with a white heat- cumulative heat-sensitive material is applied on it. When the aluminum pack 78 is kept at a high temperature (about 50 deg.C) for a long period (about 120 hr) during storage or transportation, the color of the heat-cumulative heat-sensitive material is changed, and characters 'Don't use. Replace.' appear in black or red on the surface of the toner temperature history indicator 76A. |
