[Class 18] A box of wood, fibre, &c. primarily for containing tinplates, is characterized in that open rebates 7 are formed along the inner edges of the tops of the sides 2, 2<1>, onto which rebates a cover 5 is fitted, the two unrebated ends 3, 31 being formed with their upper edges level with the supporting shoulder and top edge of the rebates respectively. The upper surface of the cover is flush with the tops of the sides. The cover may be secured by wires or metal strips extended parallel with the sides and secured around the box.</p> |
