PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head capable of making a turning arm light in weight. SOLUTION: The optical head 100 is constituted of a turning arm 3 provided with an objective optical system converging a light beam to the recording surface of a record medium and turned along the recording surface of the record medium, a fixed optical unit 4 provided with a light source unit emitting the light beam and fixed to a main body of the optical disk device, and deflection mirrors 26, 35, 31 making the light beam coming from the fixed optical unit 4 to deflect in accordance with the turning of the turning arm 3 so that the light beam from the fixed optical unit 4 comes up to the recording surface through the objective optical system of the turning arm 3. |
