PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain graphic recognition with small data amounts even when the number of the kinds of parts is increased. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a picture data memory 5 for storing picture data outputted from an image pickup camera 2, a program memory 7 for storing an algorithm for processing picture data, a reference graphic data memory 8 for storing the featured point position data of a reference graphic, a feature point detecting means 9 for processing the picture data according to the algorithm, calculating the feature values of the picture data, and detecting the feature points, and a position collating means 10 for comparing the column of a distance and angle between each featured point of the reference graphic and the other adjacent feature point with the column of a distance and angle between each featured point detected by the feature point detecting means 9 and the other adjacent feature point, and collating the mutual position relation of the feature points with the feature point position data of the reference graphic. |
