PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for forming an image having the sufficient density and good character quality level. SOLUTION: Droplets are jetted out of a jet opening of a head of S tip 2201S jetting a liquid making a coloring material in ink insoluble or coagulated while moving in the arrow mark X direction. Successively a first black ink drop is jetted out of a jet opening of a head of a BK tip 2201BK jetting black ink on an area on which the droplet referred in the preceding sentence is jetted. Then a second ink drop is jetted on the same area while moving in the arrow mark Y direction. The jet amount of the second ink drop can be more than the jet amount of the first ink drop.
