PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a multicolor phosphor screen of a reliable color plasma display panel with a higher minuteness than existing one. SOLUTION: A phosphor containing barrier (W) containing phosphors of each color is provided on a substrate (S) by means of a photoresist film method so that a cell as a space between barriers is imposed by the same phosphor containing barriers (W) and that different color phosphor containing barriers (W) are back to back, and further, a corresponding color phosphor is recessed in each cell imposed by the same color phosphor containing barriers (W) of a substrate with barriers, fired, and then secured. The phosphor is recessed in the cell by directly recessing a paste-shape phosphor containing composition, recessing a paste-shape phosphor containing composition under a condition that masking on a required part utilizing a photoresist film is performed, or recessing a hardening resist which derives from a phosphor containing photoresist film. |
