PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and suitably replace a sensor element or a catalytic unit by easily assembling in the case of manufacturing a gas sensor device. SOLUTION: The gas sensor device for detecting a specific oxidizing component contained in a flue gas in contact with an oxidizing catalyst by using a solid electrolyte comprises a solid electrolytic base material 12, a sensor element 10 in contact with the flue gas to generate an electromotive force, a catalytic unit 30 having the oxidizing catalyst, a cylindrical case 32 in contact of a sensing surface of the element 10 with the flue gas to contain the element 10 and the unit 30, and a cylindrical spacer 34 contained at both sides or the like of the element 10 in the case 32 to dispose the element 10 and the unit 30 at predetermined positions. |
