摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly dense conductive double oxide with excellent electron conductivity and stability in ambient condition and capable of withstanding impact and vibration in the case the oxide is used for a temperature sensor element and provide a method for producing such a conductive mixed oxide. SOLUTION: This conductive double oxide is obtained by adding 0.3-3.0 pts.wt., especially preferably 0.5-1.0 pts.wt., of SiO2 to 100 pts.wt. of a double oxide having a formula YCrO3 and a perovskite type crystal structure. The respective contents of Al2 O3 and Fe2 O3 contained as inevitable impurities in YCrO3 are preferably not more than 0.1 wt.% each. The conductive double oxide is produced by adding 0.3-3.0 pts.wt. of SiO2 to 100 pts.wt. of YCrO3 powder with 0.1-0.5μm average particle diameter and firing the resultant mixture in a temperature range from 1450 to 1700 deg.C in atmosphere.
