<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device not requiring an AC 100 V-line to be arranged long in a circuit board for lighting an incandescent lamp, not requiring an expensive connecting element for electric insulation such as a photo-coupler, capable of saving space and being miniaturized at a low cost, and capable of dimming the incandescent lamp. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a full-wave rectifying circuit 4 full-wave-rectifying an AC power supply 1, a rectifying diode D1 connected to one output end of the full-wave rectifying circuit 4, a smoothing capacitor C1 connected between the output end of the rectifying diode D1 and the other output end of the full-wave rectifying circuit 4, an inverter circuit 5 cascade- connected to the smoothing capacitor C1, and a discharge lamp 3 cascade- connected to the inverter circuit 5. An incandescent lamp 2 is connected directly after the output of the full-wave rectifying circuit 4 via a switching element 9.</p> |
