PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the yellow toner mother particles capable of attaining sharpness and sufficient color reproducibility and development at the time of forming a full color image by using a full color copying machine or printer or the like, and the yellow toner and the yellow developer each using these yellow toner mother particles. SOLUTION: These yellow toner mother particles contain as a colorant a fine pigment obtained by dissolving an organic pigment in sulfuric acid and introducing the solution into water to precipitate the pigment in fine particles and this organic pigment is represented by the formula in which each of R1 -R8 is, independently, an H or halogen atom and at least 3 of R1 -R4 are halogen atoms.
