<p>Upon detection of a code sequence that agrees with a leading part ('00') of a predetermined code sequence detected by a start code prefix detector (2s3), the start code prefix detector (2s3) detects the remainder ('00', '00', '01', 'E0') of the predetermined sequence. When a pattern ('00', '00', '00') is detected, a formatter (2s13) produces an output ('00'). After a boundary between packets is determined, all the remaining data corresponding to the code sequence that has not yet been transferred to a decode buffer (2s9), except a code sequence ('00', '00', '01', 'E0') indicative of the boundary between packets, are sent to the decode buffer (2s9). In this configuration, an input buffer read control circuit (2s4) can be operated in a simpler manner for separation of coded multiplex signals, and the corresponding hardware can be reduced to produce low-cost devices for reproduction of digital code sequences.</p> |
