PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sandwich panel capable of fitting a fitting seat to a panel body without any obstruction in the brazing and without degradation in strength of the fitting seat. SOLUTION: Relating to a sandwich panel in which a core 3 is interposed between a pair of surface plates 1a, 1b, at least one surface plate 1a of the surface plates 1a, 1b is notched, and a part of the core 3 is removed to provide a recess 5, a fitting seat 7A is fitted into the recess 5, and is joined with the surface plate 1a by the friction welding 6. A panel body 4 can be manufactured without any obstruction in the brazing, and the fitting seat 7A can be fitted and fixed to the panel body 4 without degradation in strength of the fitting seat 7A. |
