摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter capable of accurately measuring the flow rate of a fluid such as gas in a wide flow rate range. SOLUTION: A piping 10 has a low- and high-flow rate measuring regions 15, 16 in its passage 13. The measuring region 15 is divided into small passages 14A having rectifying strainers as rectifiers for rectifying the flow of a gas 20 flowing in the low-flow rate passages 14A. A part of the flows out of these passages 14A reaches nozzles 22a 22b erected at both sides of low-flow rate velocity sensors 15a, 15b to accelerate these flows by the action of the nozzles 22a, 22b. At the measuring region 15 low-flow rate velocity sensors 15a, 15b output signals corresponding to the velocity of the gas 20 accelerated when passing through the small passages 14A. At the high-flow rate measuring region 16 high-flow rate velocity sensors 16a, 16b output signals corresponding to the velocity of the gas 20.</p>
