<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeat a packet having a transmission control protocol-internet protocol(TCP-IP) address through a synchronous transfer mode(STM) network. SOLUTION: A TCP-IP address is converted into an E.164 address on an STM network 1 and when transferring a packet through a time slot allocated to a destination address, while referring to a table 3 of a subscriber exchange, the address conversion is performed. At such a time, the addresses which are not recorded in the table are inquired from a database 5 and the retrieved result is recorded in the table. Further, when there is no a remaining capacity for recording in the table, the oldest data are replaced with this retrieved result.</p> |
